New Zealand, South Island

We spent 10 days in New Zealand’s South Island completely mesmerized by the natural beauty of the country’s landscape.

We drove from Christchurch to Milford Sound, taking many detours and stops along the way to take in the experience. This was the trip of a lifetime for me.

We experienced first hand encounters with the nationally endangered Kea parrot (~3,000-7,000 remaining) in the mountains and the Hector Dolphin (~10,000-15,000 remaining).

Featured locations: Christchurch, Akaroa, Mount Cook, Lake Tekapo, Queenstown, Te Anau, Milford Sound and all the gorgeous unnamed places we’d pull aside and venture to.
